MBO
This is the opportunity for the management team to take charge of their own destiny and to enjoy the rewards of business ownership. A MBO occurs where the management team has the opportunity to acquire the business from its owner. For sellers the MBO route can represent the most viable exit route.
We will lead all stages of the MBO:
- Review of the feasibility of the MBO so that the offer to purchase is attractive to the seller, realistically priced and can be funded.
- Negotiate with the seller the terms of the transaction.
- Develop with the MBO team the business plan and financial forecasts for the potential funders.
- Lead the negotiations with the funders so that the most suitable funding is arranged.
- Manage the transaction to completion.
To make an MBO work we need to be involved at the Feasibility stage so that we can ensure that the transaction is structured correctly and can be funded.
