Chris Sellars

Director & Head of Corporate Finance

Chris is a Chartered Accountant with a broad range of commercial experience including:

- Corporate Finance Partner in leading Yorkshire accounting practice,
- Associate in an international bank,
- Managing Director of SME business following MBO,
- Finance Director of an international business.

Chris’s broad range of experience, including completing an MBO and owning and running an SME business, brings hands on experience to support his advice.

Matthew Milnes*

Director

Matt is a Chartered Accountant who took the decision to move into Corporate Finance. Over the years he has worked on multiple different transactions across all fields and sizes of corporate finance including distressed funding and business support.

In 2012, following winning the Young Dealmaker of the Year Award at the Insider South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards, Matt spent 2 years working in the corporate team of Lloyds Bank, looking after a small portfolio of clients ranging from £25m to £460m turnover, before moving back into corporate finance.

Richard Hayter*

Consultant

A Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience in advising family and entrepreneurially managed businesses.

Richards' experience in Corporate Finance & Business Advisory has enabled many clients to progress from humble beginnings to substantial value and some to flotation on capital markets. He has completed deals in the UK and across the globe, including in Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Hungary & the former Soviet Union.

In 2016, Richard was named UK Deal Maker of the Year.

We know Richard as a singing descendant of Bahadur Shah who has a penchant for Italy.

Harry Bushell

Executive

Harry is a chartered certified accountant who spent the first part of his career in practice building up his experience in accounts preparation and auditing, principally for SME clients turning over up to £40 million. In 2019, Harry joined Mackenzie Spencer corporate finance and since then he has assisted in numerous deal sourcing, fundraising and M&A opportunities.

Outside of work, Harry has interests in clay pigeon shooting, walking, and tabletop gaming.
