Peter works closely with the Partner Group, focussing on Hentons growth strategy and advising on strategic, operational and business issues across all the Hentons offices. As our registered in house Lawyer he also fulfils the role of General Legal Counsel for the Hentons Group. Twice shortlisted for Managing Partner of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, Peter has a track record of driving national growth. Taking a pragmatic approach, Peter is highly experienced in professional services management and the execution and integration of mergers and acquisitions. Sharing a love for the underwater world, we know Peter as a keen scuba diver and traveller. A Leeds United fan, Peter also shares a passion for football as well as enjoying the occasional spot of gardening.

Tim Baum-Dixon

Tim works closely with clients to align business efficiency with business success, ensuring they get the most from their management information, accounting systems and processes. A Chartered Accountant, Tim has worked with a variety of businesses as a trusted advisor, with a focus on providing strategic advice on how to run a business more effectively and profitably. Experienced in a number of accounting packages including Xero and Sage, Tim believes in working in partnership with businesses to help them succeed. Dedicating most of his personal time to family, with 2 young children, we know Tim as a soft-hearted individual who also has a love for the Rugby Union and Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.

Simon Roberts

Tax Partner


Simon is our Tax Partner and leads the Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance teams across our offices nationally. Simon has worked in accountancy firms since 2004 and has significant experience advising owner managed businesses and Business Owners. Simon also has a long history of advising on Private Client matters and has significant experience working with healthcare clients. Simon loves to be a key part of managing and mitigating taxes for businesses and individuals. Simon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, having completed the qualification in 2008. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation is the gold standard for tax advisors in the UK. Simon and his team regularly work with clients to plan and manage their tax position or deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations. Simon spends his spare time with his wife and two young children. He is a keen cricketer and follower of Leeds United.

Mark Bain

Mark is a classic car enthusiast, enjoys travel, mountain biking and is a keen rugby follower supporting his home nation New Zealand’s mighty All Blacks!

George Antoniou

Not just a master in tax, we also know George as a master in martial arts, holding the title of ‘Sensei’ (teacher) in Jiu Jitsu! And to his own recognition as a ‘petrol head’ he enjoys the fast lane with a huge passion for motor racing and high performance cars.

He is a former Council Member & West Yorkshire & York Society President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has also completed 9 years as a council member of the Association of Accounting Technicians where he chaired the audit board for 3 years. Besides enjoying watching his “half a hoof” of a racehorse run, he is also a qualified cricket umpire and football referee. Watching more than anticipating these days though.

Tom La Dell

Tom is our Wealth Management Partner and leads the Hentons Wealth Management team. Working within the Financial Services industry for over 15 years, Tom has a wealth of experience dealing with Private Clients and Business Owners. Tom is passionate about delivering outstanding service and advice, ensuring the client is at the heart of everything both he and the business do. Tom is a Chartered Financial Planner and a pensions and tax planning expert. He is proficient in the use of lifetime cashflow forecasting and believes this is essential to help clients understand and meet their financial objectives as quickly and efficiently as possible. Tom spends his spare time with his wife and two young children. He is a 15 handicap member of Horsforth Golf Club and also a Trustee of Horsforth School.

Chris’s broad range of experience, including completing an MBO and owning and running an SME business, brings hands on experience to support his advice.
