Payroll

As part of our service we:

• Calculate PAYE/NIC (both employee and employer) deductions.
• Calculate statutory payments, e.g. Statutory Sick Pay and/or Statutory Maternity Pay.
• Calculate other statutory and non-statutory deductions.
• Submit information online to HMRC under RTI for PAYE.

In addition, we prepare and submit:

• Payroll reports
• FPS (Full Payment Submission) for each employee in the correct pay periods.
• Payslips for each employee and P45 for each leaver.
• Letter showing your PAYE and NIC liability and due date for payment.
• EPSs to HMRC after the data to be included therein has been approved by you.
• Final Yearly FPS (or EPS) including employer annual declarations and submit this to HMRC.
• Form P60 for each employee on the payroll at the year end.
• P11 deduction cards showing tax/NIC calculations throughout the tax year and the year end submission receipt.
• National Insurance Number (NINO) verification requests as appropriate to verify or obtain a NINO for a new employee.

All employers need to automatically enrol their employees into a pension scheme. This can be a complex process, but our sophisticated software will ease the burden.

Our service includes:

• Assessing your workforce to calculate contributions in line with the legislation and existing pension schemes.
• Deducting employee contributions in line with the type of
  pension scheme.
• Automatically enrolling eligible job holders and informing your pension provider of new employees joining and leaving your pension scheme.
• Calculating pensionable earnings for each employee in the pension scheme.
• Categorising your employees into correct statuses – eligible job holders, non-eligible job holders and entitled workers needed for auto enrolment.
• Managing opt-in, opt-outs, refunds, and postponement.
• Sending pension data directly to providers – we provide this information for checking before the data is sent.
• Keep track of employee’s circumstances which may affect their status and contributions for auto enrolment such as higher earnings birthdays.
• Reporting a breakdown of employee and employer contributions in the pay period. Additional reports can be agreed as necessary.
• Creating letters for each employee when auto enrolled into your pension scheme.
• Completion of the Declaration of Compliance after your staging date.
